Memorial Biography

Georgia Paul Kartas August 10, 1930-January 31, 2020 Born to Paul & Mary Symon in Gallup, NM (which she took great pride in), Georgia happily lived her younger years alongside her sisters Helen & Goldie. She moved to Albuquerque at the age of 16, where she attended St. Vincent's Girls Academy (which she took great pride in). After graduation, Georgia received eight marriage proposals (which should took great pride in) & chose to marry the love of her life, Tony M. Kartas. The happy couple moved to Santa Fe and had their first born daughter, Marina (which she took great pride in). A few months later, they relocated back to Albuquerque to be closer to friends and family. Three years later, they had their second daughter, Eleni (which she took great pride in). Throughout her life Georgia had various jobs from secretary at the Albuquerque Public School System to Prayer Coordinator at Son Broadcasting, which was her ultimate calling where she spent her days praying fervently for others (which she took great pride in). She was immensely pleased with her Greek heritage and took every opportunity she had to inform others of the Greek origin of every word they used in conversation. She liked reading, sewing, baking Greek treats & spending time with her big Greek family (which took great pride in). "No fear, no stress and no pride!", was her life's motto. Georgia lived her life with great passion! She lived life, her way (which she took great pride in). But, above all the things in life that "she took great pride in", the love & passion she had for her faith, her friends and her family, was her greatest pride and joy. Georgia was proceeded in death by her husband Tony M. Kartas & daughter, Marina Kartas Hall. She is survived by her daughter, Eleni Kartas-Maull, her Husband Matthew A. Maull; Son-in-Law, Martin E. Hall Jr. his wife, Katrina Trice-Hall; Grandchildren, Tirzah Hall-Barclay, her husband, Jonathan Barclay; Nathan Hall, Ethan Hall, his wife Anie Hall; Taralah Hall, Olivia Maull, Judah Maull & cherished family, Cole McPheeters & Amber Langella.
